About Us

Working out of offices in Eugene, Oregon, Tom Durant oversees the EcoCafé Haiti program as a volunteer missionary, and serves as the volunteer economic development director for Christian Flights, International (CFI). EcoCafé Haiti is one of several programs supported by CFI, a faith-based, non-denominational, 501(c) (3) charitable organization whose ministry revolves around the community of Ranquitte, Haiti. CFI is headquartered in Richmond Kentucky.

In addition to the EcoCafé Haiti agriculture program, for the last 30 years CFI has funded and operated a school (current enrollment of 1,400 students), a medical clinic, and a clean water program on a six-acre campus near Ranquitte, Haiti, a village in the north central mountains of that country.
